Vivian Todini wrote a great prayer (I’m not sure if it’s intended as a prayer but that’s what it sounds like anyway) for “Nodin upon his 13th birthday.” What makes it great is that it recognizes that Nodin is a man, with manly qualities. She does not pray that he will become in touch with his feelings or explore his feminine side. No, she just hope that he will know his powers, abilities, traits and values, and put them to good use. That’s a good prayer. It lifted my moral so much I had to steal it from Other & Beyond Real Men.
