Men are better than women!
Can you even say that now? I don’t think so. But a few decades ago it didn’t bother anyone to say that men are better then women. Just check out this old ad: “Men are better than women! Indoors, woman are useful - even pleasant. On a mountain thay are something of a drag. So don’t go hauling them up a cliff just to show off your Drummond climbing sweaters. No need to. These pullovers look great anywhere. On the level!” Besides, men ARE better than women. On some levels. That’s why women don’t compete against men in sports. I wouldn’t be fair. So why should it be sexist behaviour to say it? Let’s appreciate the differences. After all, women are better than men. On some levels.

[...] Why is it that some people choose to fight the difference between men and Women? Like Julie Bindel. She claim that we’re not different, we’re just tought to behave like boys and girls from birth. SHUT UP! The differences in behavior between male and female is obvious in every living creature. Don’t tell me your female dog behaves like a bitch because she was wrapped in pink after birth. My type of feminism is that which proclaims that Women are not inherently good or men biologically bad. If we had the chance to rear children in a world which was not dependent on maintaining polarised gender roles, and where men did not get away with rape and murder of Women on a vast scale, we might all have a chance to live among each other in harmony and happiness. [...] Men and Women reach differently. Scientists have found that we use our brain differently when we need to perform hand-eye-coordination; Women use both sides of their brain while men use only the left. Unless the task is complex, then men too use both sides. While this may support the theory that men easier do hand-eye-coordination, it’s really bad news for us. You see, if a stroke hits our left brain we may need longer rehabilitation than woman, in order to do coordination tasks like (sigh) driving a car. “We found that in females there were three major brain areas involved in visually-guided movement and they showed activity on both sides of the brain in most of the exercises in the study,” says Sergio. “In contrast, male brains lit up on both sides only for the most complex exercise.” The differences between the sexes were so clear that Gorbet first noticed them while doing an earlier study that was not designed to separate out male and female results, said Sergio. Oh just cut the crap! Women and men are usually best at different things. Just think about it for a second. It is scientifically proven that most men are stronger than most women. Does that mean that women can not be strong? of course not. Women can even be stronger than alot of guys, but if you talk about who is strongest in the world, i have no doubt that it would be a guy. its also scientifically proven that girls are better at multitasking, but that doesnt mean that men cant be good at that too, and still, i also have no Doubt that the best multitasker in the world is women. We all may be better at some things, but women can do anything men can do, even though it may be harder for some things for men to do, and harder for some things for women to do.

I agree, Katie. I think. If what you are saying is that men and women are generally best at different things and that ‘generally’ is not the same as ‘all’. I think it’s fun to explore what’s typical male behavior and strengths. At the same time I think it’s wrong to say that all men should restrict their personalities to what’s regarded manly.
