Rules are good. If you stick to a set of rules, any set of rules, you may actually get somewhere instead of running in circles. The tricky part is picking the good rules. Here’s a great set of rules for the guy who wants a good life with a woman. My personal favorite is NO. 17: Rules are made to be broken.

1. You must decide what kind of relationship you want before pursuing because later you will find out what the repercusions are.

2. A woman with goals will always pursue her goals, a woman with wishes will sit around and wait for her fairy godmother to make her life better.

3. If you know the woman is violent chances are she is not going to change because of you. Wait till you mess up!

4. Never say, “I LOVE YOU!” Leave those words to the professionals who mean it. This rule is strongly advised if you don’t follow rule no. 3.

5. If a woman wants to talk when you’re ready to sleep, turn around and look in her eyes. Listen and respond to her words, you will never know who you are with until that moment.

6. Meeting the parents is not always about impressing them, let them see the person their daughter met. Obviously, not the wild side, yet.

7. Unless you are ready for unexpected visits, do not give her a copy of your house keys.

8. Avoid packages, if she has kids with different fathers, you’re not ready to handle BEBE’s kids.

9. Do not interfere with your friends girlfriend, even if they are not together but you know he wants to be.

10. Don’y play match-maker.

11. True Friendship will last forever, get to know your partner first before getting serious.

12. A woman constantly worried about finances should not know about your financial abilities.

13. Always let her know how you feel about changes even if you agree to change. However, don’t change who you are. This is not BUILD-A-BOYFRIEND.

14. If you don’t feel like talking let her know why don’t brush her off.

15. Don’t use others to make yourself feel better about your last relationship.

16. Stop trying to be controlling, get a video game system for that. You may be creating a monster of your own.

17. Rules are made to be broken, if you believe this after reading then you are head-over-heals in loved with her. I hope she feels the same too.
