Who wants a Marriage made in Hell?
Catherine Greene and Nicholas Doubleday got married in Hell. The groom blames it on the bride, of course. “It was her idea. When I asked her to marry me, she said she wanted the wedding in Hell.” She was dressed in black and flashed her shining vampire teeth as she said “I do”. He wore an 80 pound knights armor. Their wedding day was their third trip to Hell and they are thinking about moving there.
The event took place in Hell (pop. 250), Michigan, USA on Halloween, and it was the second time for John Colone of Hell Village Chapel. According to Mlive.com, the chapel is a tiny building that stands behind his Screams Ice Cream & Halloween Store. “This is great,” Colone said. “I love the joy and the laughter we can bring into people’s lives.”
The maid of honor was white angel that thought getting married made sense. “I’ve known Cathy since we were in sixth grade and she’s always been extreme and offbeat,” she said. “Everyone wants a special and unique wedding. This will be a great story to tell to their grandchildren.”
